Associates in this position develop hardware testing and production processes while assisting Key Product teams support a diverse customer base ranging from automotive dealers to government entities.
Responsibilities include resolving issues with PC systems, proprietary software, peripheral hardware, operating systems, networks, and GPS technologies in a challenging but rewarding environment.
- Testing PC hardware and peripherals, electronic components and hardware applications.
- Evaluating new software applications to be used with our hardware platforms.
- Developing hardware testing and production processes.
- Redesigning current products to improve stability and efficiency.
- Creating and modifying technical documents for support staff, installers and customers.
- High school diploma or GED
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly familiarize self with both established and emerging technologies and hardware
- Professional verbal communication skills, a plus
- Technical documentation skills, a plus
- PC skills or Troubleshooting skills, a plus
You will receive on-the-job training that appeals to various learning styles. The training program includes instructor-led lectures, reference documentation, a searchable knowledge base, hands-on instruction with labs and the ability to learn on the go by shadowing. Training lasts approximately 6 weeks.
