Motorcycle Technician (No Nights or Weekends)

Big Bike Parts, a leading Powersports Accessories Manufacturer with 42 years of history, is seeking a new team member to provide mechanical and technical support to its Product Design Department. This is a great opportunity to join one of the largest and most trusted aftermarket accessory manufactures for the motorcycle, UTV and Powersports industries.

Job Duties and Skills Necessary Include:

· Testing and installation of new product prototypes.

· Uninstalling and reinstalling vehicle body panels and components in the same condition.

· Knowledgeable with 12V vehicle electrical wiring, for general functions like brake, turn signals, and accessory power.

· Catalog incoming new product prototypes and support prototype quality reviews.

· Assist in creating Installation Instructions documenting steps in removing and installing new products for R&D Department.

· Willingness to learn how to use 3D Scanning tools and technology for R&D purposes. All necessary training will be provided by Big Bike Parts.

· Motorcycle preparation and maintenance, including, cleaning, ensure safe to ride, oil changes, battery maintenance, and other miscellaneous maintenance.

Required Computer Skills

· Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email

· Online Research

Motorcycle license is not required, but if you would like to assist the Development Team in road testing motorcycle products, we can discuss sponsoring your enrollment in a safety course. A valid driver’s license is required for any UTV road testing.
