Position Summary

The basic function of the Pump Repair Technician is to provide standard repairs and evaluation services to .5hp and 1hp electric ejector pumps. We service both commercial and residential customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluate pump condition either above grade or by Confined Space Entry.
• Perform repair of pump on-site
• Clean tank and floats as requested
• Perform tank seal and jetting services as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be able to work as a team member within our Projects division. This specialized
  team has a well-rounded skill set including skills in electricity, plumbing, construction and other mechanical skills. Our best candidate will have or be able to possess these skills.
• Must either be Confined Space Entry certified and ability to get the certification.
• Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and small power tools.
• Must comply with all company safety policies and make your personal safety a daily priority
• Must provide superb customer service with complete satisfaction the goal of each
  service.

Minimum Education and Experience

• High school diploma, or equivalent is required
• Highly technical skills with experience in pump repair, electrical, plumbing, and/or similar trade skills
• Willingness to use existing your talent and add comprehensive skills through on-the-job training
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road exams
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
• Must be able to meet physical demands evaluation
• Must be able to work overtime including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work on-call rotations as needed
• Must comply with all DOT regulations
• Must practice safe work methods to remain accident and injury free. Must have the ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non-routine tasks and make adjustments to avoid loss, injury or accident.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job.
