MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Availability to work (3pm - 11:15pm) 2nd shift
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent visual perception to ensure fine detail quality inspection
• Full physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, bend and maneuver around equipment and job stations
• Experience in a position that included Industrial machine repair of conventional machine tools and CNC equipment
• Ability to read, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and PLC electrical equipment
• Understanding basic electrical wiring
• Ability to manage time and communicate in full detail with direct supervisor, Plant Manager and Company Officers
• Able to performance basic math and written functions
• Ability to lead others as needed
• Ability to self-manage and stay on task and complete duties as assigned
• The function of Maintenance Repairman is to provide the necessary organization, coordination, servicing, and repair of all equipment in support of manufacturing and inventory control.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Diagnosis, troubleshoot, and repair of all production equipment to include hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and logic issues
• Utilize available resources to achieve minimal production down time
• Representation of the company with external contact including customer relations and vendor relations
• Adequate control, protection, and use of assets of the company
• Follow and maintain a “Preventative Maintenance” program for all equipment
• Perform new equipment and fixture builds and installations to support manufacturing
• On-going communication with the Maintenance Manager and Production Supervisors to ensure common understanding of immediate maintenance issues affecting throughput and the delivery schedule
• Daily review of all new maintenance request and ongoing maintenance projects
• Trouble shoot, diagnose and repair production equipment with the understanding cause of failure
• Order repair parts, materials, supplies and services as approved
• Any other duties requested by the Maintenance & Tooling Manager
