As an RN in the Pre-Op/PACU you will be responsible for:

  • pre-anesthesia preparation and observation and maintenance during the procedure
  • monitoring and caring for patients are they are coming out of sedation after surgery.

This is a Full Time 12 hour varied day shift at our Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. This position is eligible to participate in our award winning benefits package.

Qualifications - External

Required:

  • One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting within PACU, ICU or ED
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current BLS, ACLS from American Heart Association certifications
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Telemetry experience
  • PACU experience

Position Pay Range: 56.00-80.00/hour
