This Staff Nurse will be responsible for:

This Staff Nurse will be responsible for:
- Joining our growing staff of 80 medical/surgical nurses in this unique opportunity to learn and develop.
- Providing competent nursing care to patients and their families in a variety of inpatient settings including the surgical, medical, oncology and neuroscience inpatient units, which range from 14 beds to 44 beds, with patient ratios of 1:3-4.
- Potential for cross training in additional areas including Emergency Department, Gastroenterology Procedure Unit (GPU), IV Team, PACU, Center for Ambulatory Treatment & Clinical Research (CAT/CR), and Inpatient Psychiatry.
- Working collaboratively to provide family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team that provides expert care.
- Attending to the full range of human experiences and responses to health and illness without restriction to a problem-focus orientation.
- Providing a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing.
- Opportunities to be involved in hospital-wide committees and to precept nursing students and new float nurses.
- 24 hours, 30 hours, 36 hours or 40 hours available.
- BSN degree.
- 1 year of inpatient pediatric ICU RN experience required. Experience with a wide range of diagnoses required.
- Ability to work 50% Day/Night rotations, every third weekend, and flexibility of availability required. Straight nights, every third weekend also available.
- Additional $5/hour incentive for all hours worked.
