Monarch is looking for RNs to cover:

• North county inland: Bonsall, Escondido, Mira Mesa, Pala, Pauma Valley, Poway, San Marcos, Valley Center, Vista, Palomar Mountain, Ramona, Borrego Springs, Julian, Warner Springs, Carmel Mountain Ranch, Rancho Penasquitos, Carmel Valley, Scripps Ranch, 4s Ranch, and Fallbrook
• North county coastal: Rancho Santa Fe, Camp Pendleton, Cardiff By The Sea, Carlsbad, Del Mar, Encinitas, Oceanside, and Solana Beach

To excel in this environment, the following skill sets are necessary:

• A desire to work with patients alongside their families
• Ability to work independently to evaluate and perform skilled, individualized assessments for patients in their homes.
• Ability to develop and implement therapeutic, safe treatment plans, and to provide teaching for the safest and most efficient care of patients in their homes.
• Communicates with Physician(s) and Clinical Supervisor(s) regarding patient care
• Demonstrates complex problem solving and the use of critical thinking skills
• At least one year of clinical experience
• Experience with wound care and wound vacs
• Experience with medication administration and reconciliation
• Experience with IV infusions, PICCs, Midline Catheters (venipuncture a plus)
• Experience with feeding tubes, drain care, (trach care a plus)
• An ability to develop care plans and work with clinical teams to seek out solutions

The following skills are preferred:

• One year of experience in the Home Health setting
• Wellsky-Kinnser, EHR
• OASIS experience

Required credentials will include:

*Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing*

• A valid RN license from the state of California - CA Board of Registered Nursing
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare)
• Annual physical
• Proof of TB screening
• Professional Liability Insurance
• Ability to pass a background and license check
• Valid driver’s license
• Current auto insurance
• Proof of citizenship
• Proof of Covid vaccination with booster
