Job description
This Role:
- Integrates their department’s services with the hospital’s primary functions.
- Coordinates and integrates services within their department and with other departments.
- Develops and implements policies/procedures that guide and support the provision of services.
- Recommends a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care.
- Determines the qualifications and competence of department personnel who provide patient care services and who are not licensed independent practitioners
- Assesses and improves continuously their department’s performances.
- Maintains appropriate quality control programs.
- Provides for orientation, in-service training, and continuing education of all persons in the department.
- Recommends space and other resources needed by the department.
- Participates in selecting outside sources as needed by the department.
- Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of experience -Required
- 2 travel assignments - Required
- ACLS - Preferred
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BLS (AHA)

- Ohio
