Floating: Yes, mostly between MS/Tele units with the option to float to ICU, if qualified.
Required Certifications:
- ACLS & BCLS
- PALS and TNCC are preferred
Required Experience:
- 2 years
- Charting (Epic)
Preferred Experience:
- Tele, vents
Additional info about the unit:
- Unit accepts 1st time travelers
- Congestive Heart Failure,Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Kidney Failure, Acute Kidney Injury, Urinary Tract Infection, Pneumonia, Viral respiratory infections, Cellulitis, Surgical patients (ex. cholecystitis, appendicitis, small bowel obstruction, bone fractures)
- SBAR and Pyxis
- Other medical conditions typically treated on medical-surgical unit and non-tertiary critical care unit with telemetry capability.
