MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Nursing.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Possession of a certificate of registration to practice nursing as issued by the Alabama Board of Nursing.

KIND OF WORK:

This position is a professional, supervisory position, which will serve as the Relief Shift Supervisor and ensure proper staffing for shift. Will provide direct, individualized care to patients and review nursing plans of care. Intervenes in crisis situations. Reports pertinent information about patient’s condition and behavior. Supervises and evaluates employee performance. Provides in-service to staff as needed. Serves on committees and project groups as assigned. Performs other related duties.
