JM Staffing JM Medi-Stat is hiring Registered Nurse I and II's to join our float team at the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. along with three other facilities (Adelanto, San Bernardino and Devore).

$45.00 - $60.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Duties -
Include but are not limited to

• Take and document all patient history and vital signs
• Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment
• Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement
• Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
• Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff

Qualifications -
1) Certification: Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support certification.
2) Shift: Must be available for rotating shift work, including weekends and holidays, and may be required to assist after normal duty hours in emergency situations and may involve hostile or volatile wards and inmates. Night shift differential and overtime compensation are available.
3) Background: Candidates must not have been convicted of a felony and, upon appointment, must successfully pass a thorough background investigation, including a fingerprint check and polygraph.
4) Physical Demands: Ability to perform for extended periods of time: balancing, bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, sitting, squatting, standing, stooping, turning, twisting; and walking long distances both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions; hand and finger dexterity in both hands; ability to manipulate heavy duty security locks and doors; reaching or working above and below shoulder level; normal vision, including color discrimination; normal hearing; and carrying up to 10 pounds.
5) Working Conditions: Working conditions involve exposure to hazardous and infectious materials and communicable diseases.
6) Travel: Travel throughout the county will be required. Incumbents are required to make provision for transportation. A valid California Class C driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance must be maintained for the individual providing the transportation.

Minimum Requirements -
License: Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse license with the State of California.

Certification: Must possess Basic Life Support certification.
