Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire two skilled Reefer Trailer Mechanic/Technicians in Denton, TX. The Reefer Trailer Mechanic/Technician will be responsible for timely repair and maintenance of medium duty fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation. The Technician will require a high level of proficiency and working knowledge working on Reefer units, PMs and A/C!
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday!
Shift: Mon - Thurs 7am-3:30pm, Sun 8am-4pm **OFF on Fridays and Saturdays!

What the Reefer Mechanic/Technician role looks like:
- Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to Thermo King reefers and Trailers
- Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required
- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
- Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documentation
What our ideal candidate looks like:
- At least 1-3 years of Trailer Technician experience performing vehicle maintenance or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school
- Experience with Reefer units (Thermo King)
- 608 EPA Certification a MUST!
- Experience with PMs and A/C
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- Must provide own hand tools & toolbox
- Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word and Email
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
Working conditions:
- Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
- Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
- Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
- Ability to move and heavy objects.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
Job Type: Full-time
