SUMMARY: As the Talent Specialist, you are responsible for the execution of internal and external hiring under the supervision of the VP of People Services. Fairness, consistency, clear communication, timeliness and dependability are key. You should be able to communicate professionally, be highly organized, have a strong customer service background, possess excellent computer and organizational skills, and embody a welcoming and friendly demeanor.

Job Duties & Essential Functions:

• Tracks open requisition process in both internal drive as well as ATS software

• Assists with job posting and advertising processes

• Screens applications and selects qualified candidates

• Schedules interviews and assists with the interview process

• Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details

• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies

• Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions

• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field; Master’s Degree in a related field preferred

• Professional Certification is desired i.e., PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP

• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills

• Minimum of 2 years related recruitment experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with patients, staff and medical providers. The employee must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. This position is active and requires the employee to constantly move about in the office to assist patients, staff and medical providers.
