Job Purpose Summary

This position is responsible and accountable for administering the Company’s talent acquisition programs for assigned locations for restaurant management teams (General and Assistant Managers), and hourly Team Member recruitment when needed.

Essential Job Duties

  • Establishes partnerships with District Managers (DM’s) and Regional Director (RD’s) to attract and hire the highest-level Restaurant Managers necessary to successfully contribute to Rubio’s success
  • Initiates and implements recruiting programs, identifies resume sources (job fairs, job boards and social websites), sources known management talent, pre-screens resume, and arranges subsequent interviews, in partnership with District Managers (DMs) and Regional Directors (RDs)
  • Conducts and manages local and regional recruitment efforts working with internal and external resources that are consistent with the organizations’ recruitment strategy and processes
  • Manages Ceridian’s talent acquisition module including job requisitions, job postings and candidates. May provide assistance to new managers learning the system
  • Facilitates bi-weekly staffing call with assigned regions
  • Organizes job fair materials, and attends job fairs with store operators
  • Assists with social recruitment efforts using Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Twitter and Glassdoor
  • Works to improve, deploy and implement new recruiting tools to help store managers find top talent
  • Passively source management candidates through community engagement and Guerilla Recruiting efforts
  • Schedules and conducts phone screens with incoming candidates utilizing Rubio's interview guide
  • Performs as Recruiting/Employment Brand Ambassador
  • Completes additional tasks and projects as assigned

Job Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 0-2 years of administration and/or recruitment experience as described above. 1-2 years hiring experience. A year of experience in a Human Resources or Talent Acquisition department is highly desired but not required.

Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Applications. Working knowledge of applicant tracking in Talent Reef is highly desired.

Language Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Math Skills: Basic math skills required.

Other Skills: Word processing and spreadsheet software package skills. Ability to understand written and verbal communication and follow-through as needed. Ability to compose simple, professional correspondence.

Reasoning Abilities: Ability to analyze situations and make judgment calls.

Other Abilities: Ability to communicate with all team members and to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work well under time constraints and prioritize work. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to contribute in a high-paced consistently and positively, quickly changing work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks, as well as manage time efficiently.

Reporting Relationships
Position reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Major Business/Professional Contacts

Contact with various departments and management, including restaurant facilities.

Working and Environmental Conditions

Remote position, but must have reliable transportation to travel within assigned region to Rubio's locations for job fairs and as needed.
