Schedule:Monday-Friday 8-5

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED AS RECRUITER:

  • Maintain applicant tracking system
  • Attend job fairs
  • Update online job boards (Indeed, College job boards, etc.) & in-house electronic job boards
  • Work with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
  • Screen and interview applicants using Targeted Selection interview guidelines (behavioral based interviewing)
  • Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants. Coordinate and schedule background checks and drug testing in the Oklahoma City area, and other areas as needed
  • Assist with training, or conduct training for newly promoted managers in the Oklahoma City area about Targeted Selection
  • Enter and make changes for new employees, rehires, and transfers in HRIS (UltiPro)
  • Assist with coordinating new hire employee orientation
  • Ensure that human resource files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures
  • Prepare job postings for hiring database as well as weekly internal job postings
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resource Department including, but not limited to, distributing mail, filing, faxing, and copying; sort and distribute paychecks
  • Compile and input payroll information into HRIS
  • Prepare payroll reports as needed
  • Enter changes to W-4 elections, direct deposits, address changes, etc.
  • Assist with employee benefits enrollment
  • Check invoices to make sure they compare to your records. Back up other Human Resource staff as needed

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Bachelors degree preferred; heavy excel knowledge preferred; experience in all areas of human resource duties or equivalent education; experience in interviewing required; must be able to become certified as a Targeted Selection Interviewer; excellent communication skills both verbal and written; ability to handle confidential information; Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally.
Work Environment: Indoor climate controlled environment.
