PURPOSE OF THIS JOB

The Recruiter leads the company’s efforts in identifying, recruiting, and building a strong service delivery workforce that, collectively, delivers a level of quality and customer/client satisfaction that is consistent with the company’s mission and guiding principles. When communicating and working with prospective and hired personnel, the Recruiter effectively represents the company, its values, and mission, while providing education and guidance to personnel to ensure that each staff member successfully integrates the company’s mission and guiding principles in their daily work with customers and clients. The Recruiter directly impacts client quality of life by building and maintaining a strong, capable, passionate and talented workforce.

RELATIONSHIP

The Recruiter reports directly to, and is supported by, the Client’s Manager. This position is a member of the Service Delivery Team, which involves collaboration, cooperation, and coordination.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

⦁ Continuously builds and maintains a strong, capable, compassionate, and talented workforce for the company’s various operating units and subsidiaries.

⦁ Continuously seeks to identify prospective recruits in the field and through established recruitment channels and venues.

⦁ Sources and attracts candidates by using various recruiting platform, social media, etc.

⦁ Establishes rapport with prospective candidates, and maintains contact.

⦁ Develops and executes communication programs and materials to attract and recruit prospective service delivery staff members and contractors.

⦁ Develops and updates program information and material used in the recruitment process to demonstrate the uniqueness and culture of the company.

⦁ Screen all applicants for relevant skills and experience

⦁ Ensures that all application and supporting documents are fully completed and submitted by applicants. Reviews all materials and completes a checklist to confirm completeness and accuracy throughout the recruitment, interviewing, due-diligence, onboarding and hiring process.

⦁ Schedules and conducts the initial interview with the applicant and determines the applicant’s continued candidacy.

⦁ Conducts applicants reference and background check.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

⦁High School Diploma and minimum of 3 years of professional agency or recruiting experience in a homecare (licensed and non-licensed), healthcare, assisted living, or long term care setting. Prior work experience may include supervisory and/or management roles in a labor-intensive senior or social services agency.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES NEEDED FOR SUCCESSFUL AND CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE

· Fluent in Eastern European languages preferred.

· Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)

· Self-motivated and self-directed to work independently

· Strong desire and ability to work as a member of team, with strong collaborative and cooperation abilities.

· Possess strong cultural awareness, understanding, and sensitivity

· Demonstrates sound work ethics

· Ability to utilize computer systems (database and information systems) to carry out responsibilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to life files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a step ladder as necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

TRAVEL

This position requires up to 10% travel within the State of Connecticut.

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
