Job Description:
Coaches needed for Barnstable Recreation's Girls Basketball program this winter. The Recreation Assistant for Girls Basketball is an individual who is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of participants in a recreational activity. The Recreation Assistant will instruct activities in accordance with the policies and guidelines set by the Recreation Division. Preference will go to applicants who have some knowledge or experience coaching or playing the game of Basketball. Applicants must be willing to work with children grades K-7 along with being available to work after school and some nights Wednesday - Saturday.
Minimum Qualifications:
First Aid, CPR, AED certification
Experience supervising activities
Strong knowledge and background in the sport of Basketball
Hours:
Grades K - 3: December 3-March 18
Saturdays - 8:30am - 10:15am
Grades 4&5: November 30-March 8
Wednesday & Fridays - 2:30pm-4:30pm
Grades 6&7: December 1-March 9
Thursdays - 5:00pm-6:30pm
Saturdays - 10:30am - 11:30pm
