The Heritage of Hannah Neil provides a variety of mental health services including day treatment, outpatient care, in-home counseling, school-based outreach services, prevention services, educational services for children who’ve experienced trauma. The Heritage of Hannah Neil is in need of a Receptionist and would love to have you join our team!

Job Description/Duties:

1. The receptionist is the first impression at the Heritage of Hannah Neil. This person must present him/herself with the highest professional decorum to all visitors entering the building.

2. During scheduled hours, provide receptionist services by answering the telephone and greeting visitors.

3. The receptionist must have excellent oral and written skills as he/she will be in communication with referral sources, caseworkers, and family members. This position will also be responsible for facilitating transmission of daily reports that are submitted to caseworkers when the office manager is unavailable.

4. Provide assistance to the members of the management team to include but not limited to:

· Makes up new hire packets

· Sets up interviews

· Keeps the appointment book up to date with the nursing department and therapist

· Does inventory for all clients, during admissions, unit changes and home passes

· Makes all restraint forms for clients when given the ICP

· Makes all copies of all unit documentation for staff

· Helps with organizing and sorting documentation when asked by Deputy Director.

5. Maintain entire reception area and mailroom by opening, closing, and tidying up.

6. Accept and direct packages that are delivered to the appropriate person and distribute mail in appropriate mail boxes.

7. Facilitate information flow by performing miscellaneous tasks as requested by other individuals when time permits.

8. Assists in coordinating and managing functions as related to the needs of the program.

9. Must have the ability to remain calm and level-headed in crisis situations as well as effectively set limits with oppositional clients. Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to drop repeatedly to knees, support another adult’s weight, twist and turn, and engage in intense physical exertion.

10. In the event the Office Manager is unavailable you are to draft the critical incident reports to be reviewed by the Deputy Director and send them to the appropriate agencies.

11. Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned within this job class.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
