Reports to: Assistant General Manager

Classifications:

Education and/or Experience

· High School diploma or GED or higher

· Experience in customer service preferred

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations

· Excellent customer service skills and an open, courteous, and friendly personality required

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Must have working knowledge of using multi-line telephone equipment and knowledge with computers

· Must be able to type and using WORD, EXCEL, and PUBLISHER

· Must be able to efficiently handle multiple tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and providing excellent member services

· Knowledge and ability to perform required roles during emergency situations

· The ability to react calmly to any situation and perform with knowledge and professionalism

Job Summary (essential functions)

Greeting members with a smiling face, and friendly tone. Answer incoming phone calls effectively and transfer to coordinating departments or providing information needed. Booking reservations, assisting administrative staff.

Job Tasks/ Duties

· Answers the telephone; transfer calls to proper extensions; taking messages for management staff, taking reservations for meals and holiday events

· Greet members and guests

· Provides schedules and information to members and staff

· Arranges and maintains member charge records by name and number accurately

· Maintains supply inventory

· Fulfill member requests; for example, assisting with to-go orders or assisting with member complaints ( getting complaints to the correct staff member)

· Performs general office work such as menu changes, daily specials, replying to emails promptly, creating calendars or kid menus etc....

· Work on special projects as assigned and complete promptly

· Report presence of unauthorized visitors in and around the club facility

· Manage reception area, lobby and “lost and found”

· Greet job applicants and gather information needed

Physical Demands and Work Environment

· Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 40 pounds

· Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time

· Handle moderate noise level in the work environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
