Pennsylvania Adult and Teen Challenge (PAATC) has an opening for a full time receptionist at our main campus in Rehrersburg, PA.

Our organization offers a Christian faith-based, adult, long term program and state licensed clinical short term ,detox and outpatient programming for individuals struggling with addiction.

Summary: Asa receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our receptionist's duties include offer administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Monitor the front gate and grant access to appropriate visitors
  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive
  • Connect visitors to the appropriate person
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email in accordance with HIPPA and EPHI standards
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the receptionist desk (monitor visitor log book by having visitors sign in and issuing visitor badges)
  • Maintain and update organization extension list
  • Additional administrative related tasks may be required at supervisor's request

Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday- Friday (8 AM - 4 PM or 9 AM- 5 PM)

  • Education and/or Experience- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Language skills- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before small outreach groups or employees of organization.
  • Reasoning Ability- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Computer skills- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of software such as Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
