Nelson & Kennard, an established and growing, Sacramento area law firm, is looking for a Receptionist to join our growing team! We are seeking someone who is eager, organized, professional, reliable, and takes pride in their work.

In this position, the applicant will perform a wide range of administrative and clerical tasks to support the Firm. These duties may include but are not limited to: answering and transferring calls, filing, collating, drafting legal documents and letters, and several other potential duties. Candidate should have experience working in fast-paced work environments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Excellent judgment and discretion

· Strong time management skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently

· Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;

· Excellent attendance; ability to work a full time work schedule (40 hours per week)

· Graduation from high school or GED; some college or business school desirable

· Ability to work independently

· Certification as a California Notary Public is a plus

· Knowledge of legal formats, procedures and terminology is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
