Title: Real Estate Project Analyst

Company: Reef Capital Partners is a successful commercial real estate investment firm specializing in both private credit and private equity investments. Founded in 2005, Reef has completed more than 500 transactions with an aggregative value of almost $2 billion dollars. Reef has an exceptional track record of performance, with an IRR on realized investments over the past decade of ~20%.

Reef Private Equity, a subsidiary of Reef Capital Partners, focuses on real estate equity investments especially development projects. Reef Private Equity is currently developing a wide variety of projects, including a $1 billion+ world-class resort in Ivins Utah, 150 SF lots and 300+ townhomes at the new Mayflower Ski Resort near Park City Utah, a 900 lot lake and golf community in Virginia, 300 apartments in Idaho, 48 townhomes in Eden, Utah, etc.

Successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Tracking the original budget and current budget for all development projects, including all changes to the budget (change orders, cost overruns, etc.)
• Tracking actual spending against budgeted spending by line item for development projects, including identifying positive and negative variancesSubmitting draws to lenders for payments to contractors for construction

• Tracking development construction progress against timeline, including identifying areas project is ahead of or behind schedule
• Tracking budgeted sales volumes and timing against actual sales volume and timing for each development project
• Tracking the “waterfall” on each project, and updating the financial models for projects to accurately reflect that waterfall
• Summarizing the data listed above into dashboards for each project and for Reef Private Equity as a whole

Skills required:

• Strong Excel skills and a passion for doing quality work in Excel
• Demonstrated ability to take data in Excel and communicate it clearly and concisely to end users via charts, graphs, etc.
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with development teams on multiple projects
• Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to gather data and make sound financial forecasts
• Ability to prioritize multiple, complex projects
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail

Our company will be moving in the next couple of weeks over to Lehi near Thanksgiving point.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
