Production Forklift Driver:

DAY SHIFT:

Working four (4), 10 hour shifts. 6:30AM-5:00PM

Rotating Days:

• Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat
• Mon - Thurs
• Wed - Sat

NIGHT SHIFT:

($1.00 shift differential)

• Night shift rotates between these shifts each week
• Sunday 7:00PM - 3:30AM, Monday - Thursday 7PM - 4:30AM
• Monday - Thursday 7PM - 4:30AM, Friday 7:00PM - 3:30AM

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out basic quality and testing checks
• Complete cleaning assignments
• Conduct other tasks and liaison as directed by the Production Supervisor
• Cross training on the assembly line
• Ensure forklift is properly stored, charged, cleaned, and ready to operate
• Follow work instructions
• Forklift driving, movement of tires/wheels to the production line
• Inform supervisor of any damages, accidents or incidents
• Operate forklift in accordance with safety and standard working practices
• Operate forklift with care and with awareness to people and the environment
• Responsible for keeping work area clean
• Wear the required safety personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to the safety rules and regulations
• Work in all positions on the assembly line, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• 1+ years of Reach Truck experience
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language
• Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with continuous interruptions
• Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and move continuously during working hours
• Availability to work overtime including weekends
• Ability to work any shift as required
• Demonstrate teamwork and flexibility

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
