RCM Specialist

RCM Specialist Job Responsibilities
- Familiar with claim billing
- Communicate with patients with billing inquiries
- Work and manage claims from all aging buckets including posting and appeals
- Resubmission of claims
- Secondary claim submission
- Coordination with offices to collect appropriate missing items for deposits
- Contact insurance companies for inquiries
- Appropriate adjustments
- Responsible for efficiently and accurately posting payments in the practice management system including checks, EFT payments, online payments and credit cards
- Pull EFT back-up (EOBs)
- Insurance Refunds
- Resolve payment research inquiries
- Reconcile payments posted using system and deposit reports
- Communicate with proper departments for any issues prohibiting proper allocation of payments to be posted
- Responsible for generating quick bill statements to patient outstanding balances
- Process Refunds
RCM Specialist Job Requirements
- 2 years of revenue cycle experience
- 2 years of dental experience
- Computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word, Google Suite
- Dentrix experience preferred-practice management software experience required
