1.0 FTE - Day Shifts

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years of working in the medical field preferred
  • Excellent computer skills required
  • Outstanding customer service
  • General knowledge of radiology procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients and manages the mammography lobby.
  • Facilitates efficient workflow through scheduling process.
  • Coordinates and manages a patient wait list to assist patients with earlier appointments.
  • Schedules complex and composite appointments with radiology specific knowledge and understanding of testing.
  • Scheduling and verification of appointments.
  • Assistance with patient self-referrals.
  • Managing radiology scheduling queue.
  • Verification of demographics.
  • Directs patient education for exam preps before testing to assure high quality testing.
  • Scheduling lab/prescreening testing.
  • Coordinates, schedules procedure with appropriate radiologist.
  • Identification of primary care providers.
  • Works closely with clinicians and nursing staff.
  • Attends education and training seminars.
  • Performs order entry for radiology.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
