We have an immediate opening for an R&D Technician I/II at our Chickasaw, AL location. The successful candidate’s primary role will be to perform analytical testing on production samples produced at the Mobile manufacturing plant. Example analysis: XRD, LOI, Density, AA, ICP, XRF, pH, Gravimetric procedures, etc. Inexperienced analysts are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to HSE guidelines and treat safety as the top priority.
- Perform analytical testing using a variety of instrumentation.
- Help ensure first pass quality by providing analytical results in a timely manner to operations.
- Help support quality system by running analytical standards and maintain written records according to policy.

YOU MUST HAVE
- High School diploma
- Basic understanding of science with a demonstrated mathematical ability
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Good record keeping skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced & high-pressure environment.
- Ability to follow complex procedures and work independently with limited supervision.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor of Science Degree.
- Experience working in an industrial laboratory.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
