R&D Data Strategist

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead development and implementation of R&D wide data strategy in close collaboration with R&D functions and IT
• Identify and implement core elements of data asset life cycle management (e.g. ethical data usage, data investments, data cataloguing)
• Alignment and communication of on-going activities in the field of data integration across PH R&D functions to leverage synergies
• Enable and steer acquisition and value generation of external data assets
• Overview and planning of data governance processes
• Foster collaboration around all aspects of data assets within R&D, ensuring clear focus on value generation
• Drive and support governance bodies to ensure PH wide alignment and value generation on data initiatives

WHO YOU ARE

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology
• 5+ years experience in R&D or information technology; deep knowledge in one or more R&D fields (e.g. drug discovery, clinical development, regulatory affairs), preferably end-to-end overview of the R&D value chain and corresponding key data assets
• Strong hands-on experience and deep knowledge in sustainable data management
• Strong strategic mindset
• Collaborative spirit and behavior
• Jointly work with diverse stakeholders on all managerial levels
• Fluent in spoken and written English
