Wurth Revcar Fasteners, Inc., a division of the Wurth Industry Group is seeking a highly motivated, career-minded individual as a Corporate Quotation Specialist for their rapidly expanding company. This position can be located in Roanoke or Richmond, VA, or Gainesville GA. The Corporate Quotation Specialist is responsible for gaining new business for the company through relationship building with suppliers, cost negotiation, profit-seeking agreements, and innovation. This position requires the following functions in order to positively impact short-term and long-term business goals: analyzation, quoting, sourcing, negotiation, and quality assurance. Fastener experience, while not required, is highly desirable. Only individuals seeking a long-term career with opportunity for advancement need apply.
Job Responsibilities:

• **Review historical and competitive costs to identify cost savings opportunities and variances.
• Analyze category, material, and supplier costs to provide key decision information to the customer and to determine the best supplier.
• Evaluate fastener drawings and/or samples.
• Determine what quality the customer requires, while also reviewing all other specifications beforehand.
• Form relationships with important suppliers in the Fastener industry, while maintaining those relationships to ensure continual improvement in sourcing.
• Negotiate deals with suppliers – pricing, quantity, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare request for quotation and purchase orders in timely manner and obtains PO acknowledgements from suppliers.
• Ensure the database is up to date and accurate by entering information into the system when quotes are received.
• Review proposals, negotiate and issue purchase agreements with supply base at best total cost, always considering quality.
• Support special projects or initiatives as required.
• Proactively drive initiatives to meet sourcing objectives.

Requirements:

• 4-year college degree preferred (BS/BA) or at least 3 years equivalent sourcing experience required.
• 5+ years Fastener industry experience is required
• Proficiency or ability to reach proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel
• Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Must have ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, and ensure timely completion of responsibilities
• Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Work well in a fast-paced team environment
• Self-motivated
