Summary/Objective

A Quicklane Technician is in charge for maintaining vehicles, oil changes and tire rotation. They check the vehicle’s fluid and do general repairs if needed. Quicklane Technician also check the status of air filters, tires and break fluids.

Essential Functions

• Accountable for servicing the vehicles of clients.
• Execute oil changes and checks in automotive vehicles.
• Change oil transmission fluids and preserve the standard of the vehicle.
• Maintain dealership records and provide information and recommendations to clients regarding their vehicles.
• Perform the routine check-up and maintenance of vehicles.
• Check fluid levels and tire pressure of all types of vehicles.
• Grease bearings and inspect the repairs and renovation of brake systems.
• Utilize a set of different electronic tools to find and correct breakdown areas such as the ignition and wheel bearings.
• Ensure that the engines of the vehicles are functioning well.
• Tunes engines.
• Repair and maintain different service components.
• Communicate directly with service advisors if any additional services are needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Adhere to all company policy and procedures.
• Able to work as a team member and work well with others.

Work Environment

Work is regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, noise, heat, and outdoor elements.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift/carry at least 50 lbs.

Position Type

This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday, 7a.m. to 6p.m. Must be able to work 8 hours a day and will be given a regular day off.

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of one to three years of progressive experience.
• HS diploma or GED equivalent.
