Innovative Sintered Metals, Inc., a growing supplier to the industrial and automotive markets, has an immediate opening for a Quality Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949:2016)
• Champion internal and external quality audits.
• Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and equipment.
• Training and managing personnel in quality practices and assessment of product.
• Tracking product to ensure that each step in the manufacturing process is correct.
• Analyze, recommend, and implement product and process improvements.
• Facilitate problem solving activities and support new product development.
• Work with and be the main point of contact for any customer quality issues.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience working in the quality field.
• B.S. degree in Engineering or related technical field is preferred.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma concepts and techniques.
• Demonstrate experience in statistical analysis, field failure analysis tracking, root cause analysis, and closed loop corrective action
• The candidate must be proficient in MS Office and Windows, and demonstrate aptitude for computer related applications.
