Quality Lab Technician
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspector is responsible for performing First Piece Inspections (FPI), Set up, and Finals. Will inspect using prints and various measuring and testing devices to comply with customer and internal specifications. Will measure dimensions of production parts using a series of gages such as, but not limited to: drop gages, micrometers, plug gages, CMM, break strength tester, microhardness tester, contracer, mounting press, polisher, etc. Other responsibilities include: logging inspection data and Statistical Process Control (SPC) data into collection database; performing daily 6S of assigned area; achieving daily targets; and identifying safety, quality, and process improvements via Kaizen program.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of experience in high level manufacturing environment is a Plus.
