As our Quality Inspector you will be responsible for product quality verification.

What will you be Accountable for?

• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work..
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

How will you Collaborate?

• Collaborate across Hermetics in a way that leads by example, holds people accountable and utilizes data to make informed decisions
• Actively participate internally regarding, Engineering requirements, RMA’s, CAR’s, production requirements.
• Have a positive, engaged, and infectious attitude that's easy to work with and aligns with our culture

What are you Empowered to do?

• Support a QMS strategy that aligns with Hermetics short & long term growth goals and compliments all departments
• Collaborate frequently with other departments to ensure priorities for OTD is met, and customer communication is supported
• Support Quality Management team to make informed product and process decisions and improvements.

Criteria for Success:

• Communicate effectively with all co-workers.
• Work with drawings, specifications, inspection and department procedures.
• Operate and maintain mechanical inspection equipment such as micrometers, pin gages, OGP, and simple electrical and hermeticity testing equipment.
• Effective use of microscope (6-20x) for inspection of workmanship defects.
• Document and maintain inspection records.
• Complete other duties as assigned
