WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to conduct a variety of inspection tests as detailed in the Quality Assurance Inspection Control Plans and customer requirements. We are looking for a self-starting individual with a keen eye for detail. Experience doing quality inspection work is preferred but we will train the right individual.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform 100% visual inspections on in-process and completed products for compliance with company standards in a timely manner.
• Perform various product testing. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Leak testing dry suits, and dry suit components (must be able to stand most of the day and lift/rotate 15lbs).
  • Air retention testing on PFD’s.
  • Reviewing, filling out, and organizing quality paperwork.
  • Entering testing and visual inspection data in QA spreadsheets.
  • Closing out products in the company’s MRP system once completed.
  • Assisting Production as required.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures and takes initiative to make suggestions to the supervisor to improve work processes.
• Maintains a clean and safe immediate workspace. Follows all Safety Regulations and reports all hazards, injuries, and accidents to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1-3 Years of experience in Quality Assurance, FDA CFR 21, ISO 9001:2008.
• Experience in internal and external quality system audits.
• Very high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
• Customer-focused team player, excellent communication skills and resolve problems while maintaining productive working relationships with partners.
• Must be able to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasks and projects.
• Some experience using computers and MS office
• Ability to tolerate interruptions
• Ability to adhere to a strict timeline
• Ability to prepare written communications skills concisely and coherently
• Ability to check others’ work for accuracy
• Ability to develop a climate of enthusiasm, teamwork, and cooperation among employees
• Ability to strictly enforce company policy
• Ability to be punctual and manage time effectively
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.

The $600 signing bonus will be paid out in 3 payments - $200 upon starting, $200 after 3 months of continuous employment, and $200 after 6 months of continuous employment.
