New England Airfoils Products, Inc (NEAP) is located in Farmington, Connecticut, USA and provides gas turbine products for air, sea and land.

The company built its reputation on over 60 years of technology innovation and large volume airfoil production supporting the United States aerospace and defense sectors including NASA, USAF and US Army.

The company has the ability to support the entire engine life cycle: development, maturity and legacy by leveraging on concurrent engineering, lean manufacturing, supply chain management and control.

General Summary Quality:

Experience working with Pratt & Whitney programs required

Quality Control Planning, Implementation and Monitoring

Assist in the planning process to establish systems that will evaluate the inspection process. This will require sampling, recording of information, design of needed forms, gauging when required, and any necessary training. Review and evaluate inspection methods and inspection data I order to improve product and process quality. Work with engineering and outside sources in the design of inspection gauges and fixtures.

Customer/Supplier Contact

Will be the customer focal contact for quality issues regarding inspection and testing. Interface with customer quality and engineering on issues regarding non-conformances and returns. Participate in any discussions regarding quality issues. Assist in the review process when parts are returned and communicate the results in a timely manner. Perform audits of outside suppliers when required.

Continuous Improvement

Utilize information that may be collected during the inspection process and make recommendations for improvement. Participate in continuous improvement groups as required, including projects initiated by customers.

Education and Experience.

Associates degree or higher, BS in Engineering preferred.

Five years or more of relevant work experience may be substituted.

Blue print reading, statistical methods

Basic metrology

Basic metallurgy

ISO literate

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

Ability to communicate effectively with diverse population

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
