Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring quality standards are maintained and implemented to produce a ‘right first time’ product within specification. Daily activities are focused on working with the production areas to make sure quality standards are met, managing the quality technicians, supporting them and the plant to produce the right quality product to meet customer requirements.

Essential Functions:

• Inspect the quality and quantity of the products being manufactured and shipped out.
• Adhere to Company Quality management system, reviewing, suggesting amendments and updating as required.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with relevant departments to solve problems.
• Help improve and maintain work processes, customer relationships and department results.
• Monitor processes, preparation, inspection of product and advise on improvements.
• Work with Inventory Control Manager to make sure all “in-stock” inventory is in spec and ready to be shipped at any given time.
• Control the quality of produced product against product and customer specification.

• Previous experience following standard processes & guidelines
• Oracle, Microsoft, Excel, Outlook

Education and Experience:

• Post-secondary degree or a combination of post secondary education and relevant work experience.
  3-5 years in a management role managing people.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
