Experienced Quality Control Inspectors Needed

Opportunities for the following shifts:

1st shift (7 am to 3:30 pm) $18.00/hr and

2nd shift (3 pm to 11:30 pm or 3:30 pm to midnight) $18.50/hr

To be considered candidates MUST quality control experience or can use calipers, measuring devices etc. This is not a position to train someone with no experience.

Position will be a direct hire.

The below describes a typical day as a member of our fast-paced, collaborative Quality Control Department, but additional responsibilities may be required by the Quality Control Manager.

Inspect and evaluate all manufacturing processes and materials, from raw materials to finished goods, to ensure compliance with FGI Quality Control procedures

Communicate any and all discrepancies with material quality and conformity, as well as operator functionality, to the Supervisor and Quality Control Manager and take appropriate action to remedy any discrepancies

Document all performed inspections, including first articles, conforming and non-conforming product discovered during evaluation, and create relevant Quality Control reports in our Epicor tracking system

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent education required

Prior experience in Quality Control and/or Manufacturing preferred

Detail-oriented, capable of reviewing and documenting a high volume of product evaluations

Skilled written and verbal communicator

Time management skills and can prioritize various tasks as assigned by the Quality Control Manager to ensure their completion in a timely manner

Operating basic measuring devices (such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)

Drug screen and background check prior to hire.
