What You'll Do

SUMMARY:

The QHSECoordinator is located in Evansville, IN, and reports to the Quality Manager. This is a plant within our Meat division and has around 130 employees and runs 24/7. This position is Monday thru Friday, day shift position.

Prepares reports and analyze information at various stages of production process and records statistical data to determine and maintain quality, reliability, and safety of products. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reject reports and graphs.

Prepare microbiological/analytical certificates of analysis including: gathering and sending product samples for testing, faxing or e-mailing COA’s to customers, updating and maintaining COA distribution lists.

Preparing certificate of analysis using LIM’s and/or Excel

Ingredient sampling and shipping to R & D

Enter new products in laboratory Excel and LIM’s systems

Maintain R&D commercialization log

Create new control standard bottles

Maintain list of products that require micro and distribute

Enter moisture values in MAPICS

Preparing daily reject reports

Enter daily SPC bags weights, graph results by line weekly. File documentation

Preparing weekly and monthly reject reports

Maintain product microbiological results

Support Monthly environmental program

Prepare and ship daily UPS packages

Carry out other duties as may be assigned by QATM(s) and/or including laboratory bench work and data entry

What You'll Need To Be Successful And Safe

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Experience in Food Quality Assurance

Must be able to bend, stand, stoop, do repetitive motion and lift up to 50 lbs.
