The QA Engineer will join a highly motivated and fast-paced development team, providing quality assurance test case development, maintenance, and execution. Working in unison with the software development team, this position will operate within the automated test environment to enhance automation test cases and perform regular system and functional testing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to identify relevant test scenarios, test cases, and expected outcomes
• Analyze product and business requirements to develop test cases
• Develop and execute automated tests to validate requirements, integration, regression, performance, and usability tests
• Maintain a library of automated test scripts
• Execute automated and manual test cases against web applications, REST API's, relational databases, and message/service buses
• Understand the business process flow and how it relates to the creation and troubleshooting of test cases
• Analyze, report, and manage test results including management of defects
• Assist the QA team to expand technical processes in support of test initiatives
• Provide test support to the development team throughout the software development life cycle
• Provide customer test support in User Acceptance Test environments

Skills, Knowledge, Education, and Experience

• Experience executing test frameworks for web-based software platforms, RESTful APIs, and SQL
• Experience working with automation tools such as Cypress, Cucumber, Selenium, NUnit, Jest, or similar
• Experience with programming languages such as .NET, C#, JavaScript, Python, or similar
• Experience with software test plan design and implementation
• Ability to articulate technical details into repeatable processes
• Basic experience operating in Agile development teams
• Outstanding communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasking and priorities with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry, healthcare software platforms, and HIPAA compliance
• Experience with software development or software integration
• 3+ years development of automated test cases
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and DevOps
• Experience working in Jira
• Experience working in Confluence
