Our client is an established medium sized manufacturing firm in Elk Point, SD. This company is very team oriented while promoting individual growth for their employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all purchases from ordering, tracking deliveries, and reporting discrepancies in the order
  • Partner with vendors on obtaining pricing for material
  • Release purchase orders to vendors with pricing for standard products and services.
  • Review contracts with vendors and negotiate pricing
  • Regularly communicate with internal team to ensure all needs are being met
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
  • Ability to communicate effectively and create relationships
  • Understands how to establish and organize priorities
  • Computer knowledge is essential, ability to learn new software

Job Type: Full-time
