Our client is an established medium sized manufacturing firm in Elk Point, SD. This company is very team oriented while promoting individual growth for their employees.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all purchases from ordering, tracking deliveries, and reporting discrepancies in the order
- Partner with vendors on obtaining pricing for material
- Release purchase orders to vendors with pricing for standard products and services.
- Review contracts with vendors and negotiate pricing
- Regularly communicate with internal team to ensure all needs are being met
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
- Ability to communicate effectively and create relationships
- Understands how to establish and organize priorities
- Computer knowledge is essential, ability to learn new software
