Job description
The City of Pleasanton is seeking applications from qualified individuals for an open position in the Public Works Department.
Position responsibilities and duties may vary from day to day but will include maintenance and repair of water and sewer lines, park maintenance, street repair and maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the Public Works Superintendent.
Prior experience operating equipment is preferred, but not required. CDL is desired preferred, but not required. Desired applicants will have previous experience operating equipment.
Class I and Class II water operators are encouraged to apply. Water and waste water experience is desired, but not required. Water and wastewater distribution experience is desired, but not required. Willing to train the right person. The right candidate will take direction well and enjoy working with others.
Competitive benefits. Starting wage is $15.00-$19.50 depending on prior experience.
