The City of Carnation is changing and is looking for the next generation of public servants. Major changes in the City include construction of over 200 homes, development of a new municipal campus and Public Works Yard and major street improvements. This growth brings new vitality to our small and mighty town. Public Works is evolving to meet new performance goals reflecting the high expectation of a future-focused City Council and City Manager. THE POSTION:
Performs a variety of routine and emergency maintenance and equipment operation tasks related to the construction, operation, maintenance and repair of street, water, sewer, storm water and parks facilities and systems.
Responsibilities include water/sewer/storm water utilities, street maintenance, administration and customer service. Public Works is a small team and need individuals who have balanced work- family lives conducive to 40 hour work weeks.

HIRING PACKAGE

This position is represented by Teamsters. Salary Range: DOQ. Health Insurance: Fully Covered by City Vacation, Sick Leave, Covid Leave, Holidays. City will be negotiating new benefits with Teamsters in 2022.
