Public Rela�ons and Tourism Coordinator
Job Opening
We are looking for a strong communicator to join our team. The Public Relations and
Tourism Coordinator will plan, develop, implement, and coordinate a variety of public
information and community outreach programs in support of marketing the City’s
services and programs. And create and implement advertising, events, and projects to
advance tourism information in Isle of Palms.
The right candidate will be working closely with City departments to better improve
community connectivity and serve as a liaison between Charleston Convention &
Visitors Bureau and Isle of Palms Chamber of commerce.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing
- Minimum five (5) years of related experience with a governmental agency
- Directly related work experience may be substituted for formal education
- A valid SC Driver’s License
Compensation:
The salary for this position is $47,993.
