Clinical Supervisor
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the clinical oversight of OMH licensed psychiatric rehabilitation program and provision of clinical supervision to PROS professional staff and CORE Staff.
In this position, you will direct and manage an effective clinical service delivery team using applicable principles of Social Work and/or Counseling.
The Clinical Supervisor participates in the review of clinical issues and program policies and procedures.
You will support evaluation of program services to enhance outcomes and acts as a positive change agent to implement clinical initiatives to increase quality of care.
The Clinical Supervisor assists staff in providing therapeutic interventions as appropriate for clients in a crisis situation.
You will assist in oversight of compliance in accordance to OMH and Medicaid regulations and standards.
Clinical Supervisors provide supervision and guidance to staff regarding interventions necessary to address immediate risks such as relapse, hospitalization, loss of housing or involvement with the criminal justice system.
Education and Experience:
Education:
Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field. NYS license: LCSW required
Experience:
Three years’ experience in direct service to individuals with severe and persistent mental health and/or substance use disorder.
Two year’s supervisory experience.
Must have a favorable result from all state, federal, and agency mandated background check
