Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Scheduling Coordinator like you who provides expertise in provider coverage and scheduling. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

You will:

• Ensure vacant shifts are filled and all clinic are adequately staffed
• Create master monthly schedules following the approved staffing budget and revisions required according to volume trends to ensure each clinic maintain the desired efficiencies
• Must have a knowledge of the staffing policies and procedures as well as a knowledge of the number of hours required for PRN, part time and full time positions
• Calculate budgeted hours and determine in advance how many FT employees are needed so the puzzle of the schedule fits together
• Report staffing concerns immediately (over or under staffed)
• Ensure vacant shifts are filled by making calls and enlisting the help of the operations management team
• Will gather approved PTO requests from the center managers in advance and will place FT staff on the schedule keeping in mind their PTO dates
• Coordinate the scheduling of part time and PRN staff according to staffing needs and availability Many FT employees going PRN impacting performs
• Utilize creative thinking to help scheduling concerns and assist staff with shift swaps
• Create and maintain open shift report

You Should Have:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in a medical atmosphere and a background in scheduling
• Requires a knowledge and understanding of how the staffing budgets
• Experience with Shift Sense is preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills primarily with Outlook and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate courteous and cooperative behavior with managers and staff

• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge and understanding of work assignments in a manner to meet timelines and objective
