We are hiring a results-driven and dedicated Protective Intelligence Analyst to help support our organization’s Global Risk Services division.
General Statement of Position
The Protective Intelligence Analyst is responsible for producing intelligence products that support the client's Global Safety and Security program. The Protective Intelligence Analyst will research, analyze and author intelligence assessments using both internal and open-source materials to produce and distribute intelligence products through approved channels. The Protective Intelligence Analyst reports directly to the Corporate Security Manager or as directed otherwise.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular monitoring of online open sources, social media platforms, & client specific intelligence gathering tools for known and potential threats to company security, client personnel, general operations, or reputation
- Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of issues pertaining to global security, such as terrorism, natural disasters, crime trends, as well as international politics and economies to understand thepotential impact on areas where the client has operational interests
- Monitor geopolitical events that may impact executive travel, company events, and/or operations, and provide periodic and timely reporting
- Effectively analyze relevant threats and produce actionable intelligence deliverables promptly for any and all incidents
- Create intelligence reports and products, including but not limited to threat assessments and travel risk assessments
- Gathering and maintaining adatabase of statistics across the overall operation via manual and approved software base methods
- Support the Executive Protection Team with actionable intel and monitoring of travel routes and executive residences
- Conduct background investigations as directed by the client
- Safeguard and maintain susceptible and confidential information
Additional Job Functions
- Perform other related duties and special project functions as assigned
- Develop and maintain relationships with public and private sector security community stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years equivalent military/professional intelligence training
- 2+ years in the Protective Intelligence field
- Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent time management, project management, oral communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills required
- Must possess advanced skills and experience in collecting and analyzing large quantities of data to produce assessments, publications, and reports
- Strong familiarity with all major social media platforms
- Must be knowledgeable on world news and current events
- Can effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management
- Must be flexible and possess the ability to function independently in stressful situations
- Knowledge of security procedures, life safety, and business continuity
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Track and Analyze major threat trends for the client and create risk reports (such as Viral Outbreaks/Terrorism/Weather Patterns/ and Geo-Political Issues).
- Conduct Investigations on behalf of the client on a needed basis
