Definitive Logic is seeking a Proposal Support Specialist to join our team. This position is a highly visible role within our Proposal Center of Excellence (PCOE) and works closely with our executive leadership, business development team, and the Capture Center of Excellence (CCOE). Duties are performed within a team environment with a focus on quality and excellence. This position will report directly to the Director of Proposal Operations while also supporting the PCOE and CCOE with delivering quality services utilizing DL’s best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Lead the development of graphics, including organizational charts, infographics and presentations/shortlist interviews presentations with visuals that support strategic messaging

• Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and Proposal teams to support business initiatives and the overall proposal development process, as assigned
• Provide support, as directed, to overall Business Development organization on other priority proposals and projects, as assigned
• Assist with editing/proof-reading content for marketing materials, publications, project descriptions, resumes, project awards submittals, and social media updates
• Develop and maintain schedules for meeting Proposal Development deadlines while tracking progress toward completion.
• Create and manage company’s repository of reusable templates
• Prepare compliant Word templates (.dotx) based on solicitation requirements while adhering to standards for quality, format, and style
• Perform desktop publishing in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat to ensure proposal documents are formatted in accordance with solicitation requirements
• Integrate and format proposal content from multiple authors or reviewers using tools such as Microsoft Office software and Adobe products to produce hard/soft copy versions for Gold Team and White Glove review
• Ensure final versions of graphics are properly inserted into final proposal documents

Required Qualifications*

• 3+ years’ experience in one or more of the following: a) publication editing; b) desktop publishing; c) social media management; d) graphics development; and/or e) marketing/business development coordination
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator) or other graphics programs
• Self-starter with acute attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Team player with effective communication and critical thinking skills
• With proper communication, have the ability to work flexible or extended hours to meet surge requirements
• Bachelor's Degree coupled OR High School diploma coupled with 7+ years' experience in a) publication editing; b) desktop publishing; c) social media management; d) graphics development; and/or e) marketing/business development coordination
