Inviting applications for the role of Remote Desk Adjuster for Theft TPA Claims

This position performs the handling of property and contents claims. The job duties include managing an inventory of primarily theft claims providing end to end claims handling through workflow queues, tasks, diaries, and mailboxes, interacting with insureds, client adjusters and field resources, investigates loss, reviews applicable reports, make coverage decision per policy and state regulations. Candidate performs work remotely as Genpact’s Sandy Spring office location is presently closed due to Covid scenario. Hours are 8 AM-5 PM EST or 9 AM-6 PM EST, but may requires working overtime, nights, and weekends, when workload increases.

Responsibilities:

· Provide superior customer service to policyholders, agents and client.

· Review assigned incoming claims and make first contact with Insured.

· Conduct claim investigation to determine cause of loss and make coverage decision on primarily theft claims.

· Consistent communication with customers to verify information, handle inquires, and manage claims.

· Ability to adapt to changing processes, empathize, and exhibit patience.

· Ability to work independently and partner with team members to service accounts.

· Monitor email and other work queues.

· Follow up communications with resources relating to claims dispatch, review, settlement.

· Detailed file documentation, upload various files, and update the claim pertaining to various stages in the claim life cycle.

· Maintain communication channels with other functions and Ops teams.

· Participate in team huddles, meetings and townhalls.

· Any and all other tasks assigned within the unit by Management.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

· Active Adjuster License is mandatory; at minimum Florida and/or Texas licensing.

· Extensive knowledge and experience in handling Theft claims as a desk adjuster.

· Ability to learn and use various company software systems in day-to-day tasks.

· Superior customer service skills.

· Detail oriented, organizational and negotiating skills.

· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).

· Experience with XactAnalysis.

· Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and effective time management.

· Professional and courteous demeanor and ability to collaborate with a team.

· Effective phone presentation with ability to efficiently build connects, deliver information, and respond to questions of a varying nature.

· Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications

· Experience with Xactimate and XactContents.

· High tech-savvy with demonstrable experience with data entry and workflow / claim software applications etc.
