Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking an Project Quality Control Officer to join our team of over 900 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry in our Austin Texas location.

Job Description:

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Improve field labor efficiency and quality.
• Understand the job’s scope of work.
• Confirm and update the field schedules with progress and quality control metrics.
• Monitor field quality on all aspects of projects.
• Report back to management on status and work with customer to ensure project standards are met.
• Work effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Handling multiple priorities, project duties and responsibilities.
• Highly organized record keeping and document management.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience (3 to 5 years) in related construction quality control management
• General knowledge of the Fire and Life Safety Systems Industry.
• Leadership and human resources management skills
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
