The Marketing department enables sales by answering, “Why Dimensional?” They partner with sales groups, investment teams, and executive leadership within Dimensional to extract, package, and spread Dimensional’s message and philosophy. Marketing teams work to best reflect Dimensional’s unique offer to clients and advance its position in the marketplace.

The Marketing Project Manager (Senior Associate, Marketing Operations) is a member of the Marketing Operations team and is responsible for guiding the production and delivery of marketing campaigns and materials for Dimensional’s global brand. These materials include print collateral, digital deliverables, and other specialty items. The role investigates the scope of the project, creates and maintains schedules, and routes jobs through the lifecycle of a creative project including editorial development, design, production, quality control, legal/compliance sign off, and distribution. The candidate must have the ability to work efficiently with large groups of stakeholders, gaining consensus and managing timelines in a fast-paced environment, and to use sound judgment with an eye to the broader communication needs for the business. In addition, the Senior Associate works with the coordination team to assess existing processes, implement improvements, create and maintain process documentation and training, and report on workflow analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages intake, scope, prioritization, routing, and publishing of Corporate Marketing & Communications-sponsored projects to meet all established deadlines. Projects include (but are not limited to): blog posts, articles, press releases, LinkedIn promotions, Op-Eds, award nominations, etc.
  • Creates schedules and assigns projects to internal team of designers, production artists, UX designers, content strategists, and editors.
  • Displays exceptional customer service skills and helps foster an environment of teamwork.
  • Consults on multiple assignments with competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Advises on existing, established workflows by identifying and applying improvements where possible and continually seeking efficiencies.
  • Conducts discovery and creates process maps for new types of content, in collaboration with Corporate Marketing & Communications stakeholders.
  • Analyzes requests and recommends / understands total asks before engaging the appropriate department resources, ensures proper prioritization, meets all established deadlines, and proactively resolves issues that may impact the success of event support.
  • Creates and evaluates job tickets for projects and assigns to team members. Keeps up-to-date records for each project in workflow database. Ensures files are properly archived.
  • Directs projects through the project lifecycle while completing stakeholder signoffs, Legal and Compliance approvals, and tracks necessary quality control revisions.
  • Evaluates the duties and strengths of fellow teammates to ensure resources are aligned and everyone is working toward a common objective. Shares insights gained from individual projects with other project managers and seeks out ways to expand positive impacts beyond your own projects.
  • Manages regular communication with Marketing teams and internal clients for early detection of issues. Interprets metrics wisely to help identify project areas that might need attention.

Role May Also Include the Following:

  • Manages contract and vendor setup with legal and accounts payable teams including: contract reviews, estimate confirmations, receipt of invoices, and appropriate department allocations in Oracle.
  • Oversees digital, photography, and print production between design and vendors by confirming job specifications and requirements, approving proofs, organizing and facilitating production or press check meetings, and confirming usage, deadlines, and quantities with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Must be highly organized and results-oriented.
  • Excellent relationship, persuasion/influence, presentation and communication (verbal/written) skills and a professional client service mind-set
  • Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills, especially in situations involving consensus and team building, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain several concurrent projects while providing realistic delivery dates and managing customer expectations.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload

  • Background in the financial services industry preferred
  • Ability to work with details and ensure accuracy, while maintaining a big picture focus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Educational Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex projects in marketing, communications, design, and/or advertising, with a focus on internal communications and/or brand management.
