Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing all product-related projects and teams at the Davie and Sunrise sites. These projects include, but not limited to: new product launches, volume transfers, material qualifications, alternate supplier/site qualifications, tech transfers from R&D to commercial operations, process changes, equipment qualification, and scale-up changes. This individual will work with cross-functional teams at the sites, and at other internal and external locations.

Essential Responsibilities

• Schedule project kick-off meetings and manage all project information, communications, and schedules.
• Coordinate cross-functional and multi-site efforts to ensure project execution according to schedule.
• Maintain project database, develop baselines, track milestones, and communicate strategies and action plans.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, particularly during the execution phase; develop with the team the optimum batch sizes and system setups needed to meet project requirements.
• Anticipate and quantify technical, operational, and quality risks and plan contingencies for all assigned projects.
• Utilize team to identify constraints within the sites and solve conflicts based on priorities set by site and above site groups.
• Serve as primary contact for all assigned projects.
• Complete all training requirements and maintain 100% compliance will all assignments.
• Maintain work areas and perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance to SOPs and cGMPs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

• Bachelor's degree required, preferable in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with a pharmaceutical company with project management experience required.
• Experience working with or managing cross-functional and multi-site teams required.
• Knowledge of industry guidelines required.
• Understanding of FDA requirements for product launches and changes required.
• Change management experience preferred.
• Experience with Operational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma initiatives preferred.
• PMP certification a plus.
• MS Office experience required.
